Climate change is a concern for me. It is a problem and while it may not affect our current generation too much, it will become a huge problem for future generations. We can still do our part to spread awareness, reduce carbon footprint, recycle and do what we can to reverse the change.

In 2019, it is a joy to compose the themes for a 3 part climate change and sustainability documentary, Tipping Point. The documentary later bagged the UNDGC Gold Award in New York Festivals TV & Film Awards in 2020.

When I wrote the music, the producers and directors were still shooting the documentary, so syncing to visual is not possible. Getting inspiration from our conversations and watching a few video clips, I composed the music in a loop-able, 'non-linear' form so that the directors and producers can extend or shorten my music to the visual.

After the mockups were approved, I hired a recording studio to source connect in Singapore and recorded an ensemble (Flute 1, Clarinet 1, Horn 1, Trombone 1, Strings 4-3-2-2-1) in Sofia, Bulgaria. The best part of a composer job is always to have musicians playing the score.
What's even better is the producers and directors loving it as the musicians played.

The executive producer like it so much that he used Tipping Point main theme on another documentary about Covid-19, 'Believe' as it's main theme.
